Ganbare Japan!
This coach Dudamel is a real nasty piece of work, maybe racist. Japan can compete with the best "superstars" of South America with just their youngsters! Imagine if they picked their regular Samurai team.
Japan and Qatar are teams of the future in world soccer and aim to win World Cups. They deserve to be there, and the experience is important. These lazy South American coaches and teams need to stop being arrogant. Because they have not won the World Cup in almost 2 decades.

I agree - it should be only for countries in the Americas. All their points are valid ones.
@Ganbare Japan - Please give your reasons why Japan & Qatar DESERVE to be there. And while you’re at it, do tell why Qatar is a team of the future
Ganbare Japan!
@tooheys new. They are rising teams and bring different style of play, that South Americans need to play against if they are to have success in WC. They bring huge sponsorship money. They bring a massive TV audience. They bring millions of kids, hungry for success on the wirld stage. Plus, They don't cheat like South Americans lol!
Japan or Qatar will win a WC before Venezuela. Dudamel is deluded!

Absolutely correct... go tell that to greedy/corrupt CONMEBOL then. Been filling their own coffers at the expense of south american football for quite a while. Managed to turn a great comp/product into a joke. (qatar, japan and oz next year aren't to blame)

I suspect this will not be a complaint if the guest countries (regardless from which continent) are not doing well and is beaten, but arises when ironically the guest countries perform well and supposedly Latin American giants do poorly in the tournament. (btw Japan was invited 20 years ago so it is not something new at all)
