The Maple Leafs now face an uncertain offseason despite its breakthrough against the Lightning. General manager Kyle Dubas doesn’t have a contract beyond June 30, while there have also been rumblings about the future of coach Sheldon Keefe. Nylander and Auston Matthews both have one year remaining on their contracts and can sign extensions as of July 1, while fellow star forward Mitch Marner’s no-movement clause kicks in the same day.
Looks like they are going to get broken up since this was the best they could do since '04.

Also begs the question why toronto fans were chanting we want florida after the leafs won their first round series.
They got pummeled 4 games to 1 against the Panthers. I cringe at the misplaced cockiness.
'93 still lives on and in a matter of a few days it will be solidified for at least another full year. Ouch.

Told you the Leafs would find a way to screw it up again.

Always thought that the Cats matched up really well against the Bruins and to a lesser extent, the Leafs. Florida always had a hard time matching up against the Canes though. Should be very interesting. As for Toronto, only the unmitigated obnoxiousness of their fans exceeded the pathetic play of their goal sucking Leafs. Hard to believe they knocked off the Bolts.
