Finally I bit the bullet and paid some monthly money to watch F1 live on my PC and/or a mobile device. (In this case I couldn't beat the system, so after years of futile protest I have joined them.)
Congratulations to Daniel Ricciardo! The Red Bulls came steaming through; the race leaders were all forced to yield and step aside.
Lady Luck bestowed her favours in new ways yesterday. There was a sweet moment when Alonso in the MacLaren overtook Vettel's Ferrari. Poor Seb got slammed by Max Verstappen in an accident that did not need to happen. Max got off with a very faint wrist slapping yesterday. A ten-second penalty served at the end of a race made hardly any difference to his position. His actions hindered Vettel and helped Hamilton, so I guess in that sense he kept the championship close and unpredictable.
Yesterday really tossed the salad. An exciting race.
