Darvish will get $21 million USD in 2024 when he is 37? Is incredible considering his history of injuries and the inconsistency of his performances. Crazy money in this sport!

Sorry $18 million in 2023 got my calculations wrong but the point remains. They are paying him at least $2 million for every game he wins and maybe a lot more. This year it was $3.5 million for each win.

Not sure that it would not be better to have more pitchers on the roster and spread their workload.
