Just think, Nadal could have equaled Federer's Grand Slam record by now had there not been a pandemic.

Think yes, but about more important things. The US open must be cancelled, because with all the redrawals it has become irrelevant as a grand slam but mostly because of public health concerns.
more players will redraw now Nadal and other top players have done so. It will be a devalued tournament and the winners not the best but the best of the rest
