LOS ANGELES — Mookie Betts tied his career high with five hits, doubling twice and driving in two runs to lead Los Angeles over Washington.

Dang! The Dodgers’ Mookie Betts continues to shine, doesn’t he!

After the first 20 games, he and teammate Will Smith lead the team with .388 and .369 batting averages, respectively. Betts also has a team-leading .490 OBP (on-base percentage), followed by teammates Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, and Austin Barnes. In fact, Betts leads the Dodgers in hits, runs, RBIs, and HRs.

Mighty impressive for the only player in MLB history to achieve a World Series (two!), MVP, Silver Slugger award, Gold Glove, and batting title.

I guess it’s not surprising his own teammates are calling him the GOAT! — at least, according to Fox Sports.

Unfortunate 9th inning double play Ohtani induced off him in the WBC.

You don't have to comment on every US story as much as you want to.

Everything US lives rent free in his brain. Never seen anyone so slavishly controlled by such an inferiority complex. Honestly feel bad for the guy, if he’s not a sock puppet Sino/Russo propaganda account, it’s sad anyone could be this miserable all the time.
