DHL, the world’s leading logistics provider, announced Wednesday that it has extended its top partnership agreement with the Urawa Red Diamonds (Urawa Reds) for two years. The Saitama-based J-League soccer team will again display the DHL corporate logo on their uniform shorts for regular league matches and on the back of their training kit, as well as in Saitama Stadium, the Urawa Reds’ home playing field.
The top partnership agreement has been in place since February 2007, when DHL sponsored the Urawa Reds’ initial foray into the AFC Championship League (ACL), where they became the first Japanese team to win the championship. The partnership evolved in February 2009 to support regular domestic J-League matches.
