Why ban unvaccinated non-citizens? The vaccines are supposed to prevent transmission now?

What a legend

Hard to say what data will eventually reveal but it seems that data is indicating the benefits outweigh the risks of a COVID vaccine for people over 65 but the risks of a COVID vaccine outweigh the benefits for people under 40.

Reduce transmission, something that is much more efficient using other measures as well. The claim that vaccines are enough to completely prevent all transmission for variants that have a much higher degree of spreading is just a fake that antivaxxers groups use instead of what is actually said by the experts.
No evidence for this claim, just misrepresented or even falsified conclusions from reports that are not enough to claim this. Up to now the vaccines benefits outweight the risks for every population for which they are recommended.

Vaccine effectiveness is a measure of how well vaccination protects people against outcomes such as infection, symptomatic illness, hospitalization, and death. The paralysis seen with polio infections drastically fell with vaccinations. Countries in Africa cry for vaccines. The permanent damage to infants from measles, varicella-zoster and mumps have fallen because of vaccinations. The Japanese physician, Kitasato, was a pioneer in the development of vaccines when he was in Robert Koch's laboratory. Kitasato University is named after Kitasato Hibasaburo.
With respect to COVID-19, there is no one indicator that assesses effectiveness; however, vaccine effectiveness is measured through observational studies specifically designed to estimate individual protection from vaccination under “real-world” conditions (not clinical trials). Covid-19 vaccines dramatically reduces the severity of illness and the viral load of the infected individual which reduces spread to vulnerable populations such as the elderly and immunocompromised. In Japan, individual rights are less prioritized than protection of society which is why wearing of masks is over 99%. All of my contacts are vaccinated against Covid-19 which is for the good of society. Contacts who live with an elderly parent, places their protect as priority. This tennis player is self-centered/selfish and has no rights to endanger the health of others. If he does not care about the vulnerable, he can cry by himself. The ability of Covid-19 to mutate without losing virulence clearly suggests a lab engineered strain that escaped a lab in China. All influenza variants emerge from China because of their habit of raising poultry and birds in the same area. (Doctorate in the area of infectious diseases).

@virusrex
It all depends. France and Germany are recommending against giving the Moderna COVID shot to people under the age of 30 as the risks outweigh the benefits, if any. How many people under the age of 30 were given that shot before data on the risks was available?

Many viruses mutate continously without losing virulence, SARS-CoV-2 is not one of them, current predominant variants are less virulent than the first. This means your argument actually proves the opposite of what you are trying to use it.
Appeals to authority from an anonymous account have no relevance, if anybody contradicts you and say they have 3 doctorates specifically on coronaviruses, would that be of importance?
That is false, the reason is that for this population other vaccines have a better ratio of cost/benefits, neither France nor Germany say it is better for a person to be unvaccinated than to use Moderna's vaccine.
Those people are still much better vaccinated than unvaccinated, waiting until this information was available would be a terrible advice because it would have that population exposed to the much greater risk from the infection, this way at least they enjoyed a reduction of that risk, even if that reduction was not the best.

if you don't follow the rule of other countries, you can stay away and be happy about your own choice.
no complaint.

A very bad look for Australia. Yes they have since gone back and lifted his 3yr ban and welcomed him but what a disgrace. He's right that he will never forget.
Great to have such a public figure having such strong principles and not bowing down to the mob. Definitely a role model for future generations.
As for the USA not letting in unvaxxed foreigners despite everything we now know (and knew a year ago) about the ineffectiveness of vaccines, especially against the milder varians - well if you can't see it's nothing to do with genuine health concerns you never will.

What a legend of a man! He didn't cave into public pressure, the WEF, the NWO, big pharma and the US government, He's definitely the epitome of a masculine role model.

Vaccine is a plus, it shall not remove people's freedom of movement.
A quarantine is by far enough, if ever needed.

That is still false, and completely depends on making up imaginary promises nobody ever made. Every time this is repeated a source for an expert promising the vaccines would be permanently effective by themselves against any and all possible variants, but no source is ever given for this, meaning it is still just a strawman.
Yes you still do, the invalid logic would also "prove" seat belts and air bags are useless since more people die in car accidents now than before they were made mandatory. As long as vaccinated people have a lower risk of infection, transmission, complications, hospitalizations and deaths even with much more easily spread variants being predominant it means they are doing not only as promised but even better.
People without experience and specially without any actual data to support their personal beliefs are not "admitting" something they are making it up. That they are supposedly experts do not make it fine to declare something that is contradicted by the available evidence, it makes it worse, because they should know better than making this unjustied mistake.
