He's feeling good because he did not get the "vaccine".

Scientifically it can be proved he is fine despite not getting the vaccine and not because of his irrational avoidance of it. Unless you can prove with data that vaccines increase the risk for anybody for which they are indicated saying avoidance is better is just baseless disinformation.

Such as this paper showing a 133X increase in myocarditis with vaccination:

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2788346

Since he already recovered from Covid19, there is really no valid reason for him to get the vaccine. There is nothing irrational about avoiding vaccination. In fact, it would be irrational for someone like him to get it.

Such as this paper showing a 133X increase in myocarditis with vaccination:

Since it is still much more rare, short and benign than what is observed after viral infections (and specially after SARS-CoV-2 infection) yes, that still means being vaccinated reduces the risk for everybody for whom the vaccines are indicated.

From your own source:

The major presenting symptoms appeared to resolve faster in cases of myocarditis after COVID-19 vaccination than in typical viral cases of myocarditis. Even though almost all individuals with cases of myocarditis were hospitalized and clinically monitored, they typically experienced symptomatic recovery after receiving only pain management. In contrast, typical viral cases of myocarditis can have a more variable clinical course. For example, up to 6% of typical viral myocarditis cases in adolescents require a heart transplant or result in mortality.

Since he already recovered from Covid19, there is really no valid reason for him to get the vaccine.

On the opposite, scientific studies demonstrate that people have a reduction of risk after vaccination even if they were previously infected. Unless you can prove there is no reduction of risk your argument is still invalid.

Who are the athletes that have put their careers on hold @Raw Beer? DIRECTLY proven to be linked to the vaccine?

Djokovic is damaging his career and his legacy (which he DOES care about whatever you may say). As it stands he cannot play at the French Open or Wimbledon. The Dubai Duty Free tournament is hardly in the same league. If he wishes to finish out his career playing in second rate tournaments so be it.

No? Just downvotes, but nobody can actually name an athlete (especially tennis players) who have 'had to' put their career on hold unequivocally because of the vaccine.

More scaremongering without the thought of how it influences others.

theResident, actually there is a French tennis player named Jeremy Chardy who claimed that the vaccine adverse reactions affected him and he suspended his 2021 season. I do not know how true his claims are (but I do not see the merits in lying about this), or if he restarted playing.

For the record, I am pro vaccine, but I do accept that some people have adverse reactions.

A number of athletes (including tennis players) have had to put their careers on hold after getting it...

Just like all those football players across the world having heart attacks after the vaccine which proved to be untrue? Like that?

I once told my mum I had a tummy ache because I didn’t want to join sports day. Sounds similar and just as verifiable.

The claims of Jeremy Chardy are his own and unverified by a Doctor. Next? @Raw Beer said 'players'

Yesterday's hero.

Some vaccinated players at the Australian Open complained of chest pain.

Djokovic is not an idiot.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Sorry, but who is Djokovic? Nobody of any importance. Stop wasting articles on him please.

Some vaccinated players at the Australian Open complained of chest pain.

Djokovic is not an idiot.

That video is about ONE tennis player.

How many times do you think play has stopped during a sports event because a participant felt ill?

That’s your proof?

3 ( +6 / -3 )

How many players joined the Open?

How many complained of chest pain?

How many dropped out of the tournament?

I know the answers, do you?

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Dalila Jakupovic dropped out of a match: “I was really scared that I would collapse. That’s why I went onto the floor because I couldn’t walk anymore. I don’t have asthma and never had breathing problems. I actually like heat. The physio came again and I thought it would be better. But the points were a bit longer and I just couldn’t breathe anymore and I just fell on the floor.”

Nick Kyrgiose and Bernard Tomic also complained of serious breathing difficulties.

Djokovic did the right thing!

How about the 125 other competitors?

3 people had breathing difficulties. I see.

Did they drop out?

@Wick's Pencil: Then you will also know that over the years the Aussie Open has been mired in controversy many many times because of the weather conditions.

Sorry, your pathetic attempts to use the vaccine as the reason for something that happens every year at this tournament is really grasping at straws.

Gullible people pulled in by some post they saw on Facebook or blog with ‘freedom’ or ‘eagle’ in the title.

But at the same time cry about the ‘fake media’ and follow the science.

It’s really baffling.

256 competitors. 3 complain of illness but continue play.

Hold the front page!

3 ( +5 / -2 )

@Bob Fosse: Indeed! I wonder if Wick even watched his own YouTube clip where the commentary even states that conditions are 'ripe for this sort of ailment'

Ridiculous.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Djokovic is the one who had to put his career on hold because of not getting the vaccine.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

And he's actually sending out feelers now that he might get the vaccine eventually is he not?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

He want be coming to America
