Many Australians are livid that his ban has been dropped. He should not have been allowed back for the full three years after breaking the law. No point having them when they are not properly applied equally to all.

I have no hard feelings towards Australia for deporting me when I knowingly and intentionally broke their laws.

I’m surprised such a vocal advocate of law and order would support a man who so arrogantly flouted the laws of a country in which he was a guest.

Good that he has no hard feelings after getting booted for lying and for violating the law.

They could have put him in jail and/or not allowed him back.

So it's super-honorable that he has no hard feelings.

I think he has a reason to be mad but he chose not to- which is great.

stlll not vaccinated which is also great.

When you enter a country knowingly breaking the law and attempt to conceal, lie and use your fame to try and worm your way around the rules, I’m not sure how aggrieved you can seriously be when you’re unceremoniously booted out.

Djokovic playing the Australia Open is a big win for tennis and for the country of Australia.

And good for him, staying as healthy as possible too.

Australians, like other Governments should look at what they did to many individuals, whilst they themselves did otherwise, or even ... reaped the benefits of investing into things that their own Governments needed to procured....

Many are, and determining the correct course of action was taken. Canada has had a number of reviews of pandemic policies as well as court challenges, and they have showed that Canada took the right course of action with their pandemic response. I know NZ is doing a review as well, and I expect they'll find the same. Of course, there will be places for improvement for the next pandemic, but anyone who thinks that these countries are going to suddenly say 'oh, we did it wrong', are delusional, and don't understand how the real world works.

But Australia does not owe him anything - he's the one who lied in his visa application

Let bygones be bygones, yes. But he's not owed anything, so the hard feelings are all on him to decide by himself
