Nadal has hardly any points to defend til the end of this year. Djokovic is going to tumble even more as he has to defend huge points from W and US. And Medvedev from US. Medvedov has nothing to defend at W, but because of their woke cancel culture, no points are on offer this year. Zverev is out. So, if Nadal can keep himself fit enough for a few more months, he could end up World Number One again. If he does that, plus win W and US, then that would be a great retirement present. But somehow W will be too much to ask and his participation isn't even guaranteed yet.

Pukey, I thought ATP decided to not give any points at Wimbledon this year, did they change their opinion? Medvedev will be heavily impacted by these politics and probably lose the top spot

Well, after 4 years of being Number One it's ok to step down for a while. GOAT Djokovic!

Djokovic is past his use by date. Nadal is GOAT with 22 grand slam titles, 2 ahead or Djokovic who now needs three more to get in front and claim GOAT. Never going to happen with the new young guns coming on strong.
Djokovic should retire with his not inconsiderable wealth made from the game and sponsors. Maybe he will make a good coach.
