I feel quite fortunate in my lifetime to have witnessed the Michael Jordan phenomena and now the Shohei Ohtani phenomena for MLB.

2 of the all time greats in their respective sports.

If Ohtani doesn't make it to 50-50 he still has the record for most homeruns and stolen bases in what would be the best 40-40 year. So he still has the record even if he doesn't make it to 50 in one category, he has set a record that will be hard to beat. Of course, if anyone could go 50-50 in the games remaining, it's him.

Comparisons to Babe Ruth are justified.

Mr. Ohtani is good for the sport of baseball! He can do everything except catch behind home plate.

I think the Dodgers have around 16 games left in the regular season so it's entirely possible for Otani to set a MLB record for 50/50. He also has a chance to beat out Judge who's been stuck on 51 HRs for a while.
