GReat call. Love to see the cup in Blighty the home of football. Will definitely go and stay at my cousins and hopefully watch some live matches and also some on pubs.

I can't for the life of me understand what infrastructure needs to be built for a 3 week soccer tournament in England - with guarantees of almost $500M promised. England already has probably 20-30 very good, all-seater stadiums of over 40,000 capacity (FIFA requirement).

Of course, I hope it goes to Australia, but not at the expense of pandering to FIFA and their list of demands. Great comp. - controlled by a bunch of old zeros.

Well, just one stadium, the new Wembley, cost 800 million pounds so this 300 million for something as big as the World Cup doesn't seem crazy. Especially when you take into account the costs of security.
