These Changes are common sense & should have been introduced years ago to ease the burden on players

This news makes it more confusing why they decided to scrap the 5 subs rule. If you are going to make the season more intense, then you have to protect the players a bit more if you want the quality to remain high.
Having said that, no FA Cup replays, and no 2-legged semi in the League Cup are changes that should've been made years ago.
One change I think they've missed is making the last 3 rounds of the FA Cup an 'end of season festival'. The QF, SF, and Final could be played Sat, Wed, Sun after the final league games have concluded. This would not only provide an exciting end to the season, but also make another 'product' that can bring in big TV money.
