What kind of diversity? There is a dearth of Native Americans and transsexuals in the sport.
Fighto!
Good for Lewis. Both he and Naomi-chan are breaking through barriers in world sport, and stating loud and proud that
Black Lives Matter.
Mr Kipling
Yes, lets have some more diversity in sport. How about we start with athletics? 100m? 200m? Basketball? Skiing? Swimming? Cycling? 140 riders at the Tour de France... 1 black.
Lewis, who are these great black drivers being kept off the grid? Why weren’t you stopped? Is skiing racist? Swimming? Is cycling run by the KKK?
Get back in your car and stop spouting nonsense.

Oh yeah. And let’s get more black sumo wrestlers into sumo in Japanese tournaments. And let’s have street demos until they are represented ( even if they aren’t really interested!)
Right?

How about pledging to pay your taxes, Hamilton?

Japan's Satoru Nakajima, was not exactly pearly white, nor his fellow countrymen Aguri Suzuki, Takuma Sato and Kamui Kobayashi. Although not very good, and were in it mainly for Japanese company sponsorship, they were still in F1. Also there were 2 Indian drivers, Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok.

By all means promote F1 to folks typically not interested in it, same for a bunch of sports listed above, there is NO need to ram the "right" people into places\positions they dont have the merit for.
Do this stuff organically, seems these celebs are now competing with each other to see who is the most whatever, starting to sound a bit obnoxious of late, I think so are simply doing this so they dont get called out for not doing anything\enough.......
Harry_Gatto
Hamilton is where he is on merit alone, as is everyone else in the sport.
Fighto!
Merit based on ability is not exactly how it works in F1. It often comes down to how much money one can bring to the team, background (having an F1 driver father is a big asset), and nationality. Lewis is the exception.
More Blacks, Asians and other non-white drivers would be fairer, and expand the sport. Look at soccer with every race under the sun in most teams, all based on skill. Lewis is right in his campaign.
Harry_Gatto
This is true to some extent but Lewis is not the only exception.
Why would it be fairer? To whom?
"Soccer............ all based on skill" which is exactly as it should be and totally contradicts both Hamilton's and your thinking.

Anything that improves is better than the status quo
Why do people so attached to the status quo
Are people afraid of any little change that could lead to something better
Ex: Michael Jordan is now starting his own team in NASCAR - and NASCAR celebrates (and Bubba Wallace will drive for him)
ETHAN1001
Stick to driving around the track repeatedly Lewis. KPOOS Keep Politics Out Of Sports! People only pay to see you drive. By the way F1 has lost 400 million viewers over the last few years!
lostrune2
Even more reason not to keep the status quo - why would anybody wanna keep that

Ummm,... Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez would like a word with you. Maybe try doing some actual research before writing about things you're clearly uninformed on.
Fighto!
Actually, they are Caucasian aka "White"

@Fighto, then why does AOC, a white hispanic, refer to herself as a woman of color?
Fighto!
What is an AOC? Please explain.
Random
@Fighto, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a New York Congresswoman with Puerto Rican heritage...if you really don’t know. Maybe you never saw her face because her head is frequently up Bernie Sanders’ backside.
