Most F1 one guys are tiny men, like jockeys, so Norris would have been an easy target for a crim.

The "security" at that even was laughable from all the footage Ive seen. Scared looking men in hi-vis vests standing still while chaos and violence ensued all around.

The police stood back and let most of the trouble happen.

Contrast with any non-drunken protest, like Extinction Rebellion or Black Lives Matter. Or worst of all, that vigil (vigil!) held held for the woman raped and murdered on her way home by an off-duty police officer. At that vigil, police forced women holding candles to the ground and put their knees in their backs. Football fans get to p!ss in the street, smash bottles, and throw whatever they can find, and the police do next to nothing.

As well as punch and kick the living daylights out of Italian fans trying to exit the stadium.

Poor him. London becoming a bit of a lottery. I personally know 3 people who have been mugged or robbed there in the last year

I'll need to hide my Swatch next time then.

The article seems to have glossed over the value of the watch, and why the muggers followed him.
