The Biggest Disappointment Award to Murakami.

The guy got the game winning hit in yesterday’s game, and a game tying home run in today’s. He broke out of his early slump at the perfect time.

A tremendous tournament overall, but the last two games were absolutely incredible with both the semi and final games' final innings being Hollywood scripted-like in excitement.

Ohtani VS Trout, 3 balls, 2 strikes, 1 run to tie the game and Ohtani rips a slider that got Trout to swing after multiple heaters. My heart is still pounding after that memorable scene!

Team of minnows? They had the best player in the world in Ohtani and one of the best pitchers in MLB in Darvish. Both over 6-foot-5.

What a win for a team of minnows against the might and power of the MLB. Despite being noticeably shorter and lacking muscle power Japan was able to prevail. Would this be one of Japan's greatest sports achievements on the world stage?
