Whoever beats Federer, will win the tournament. Which will require defeating Djokovic.

Emma does have the potential to become the next poster girl of tennis. Talented, beautiful, humble, nice personality, apparently also excels academically. Romanian/Chinese parents, born in Canada grew up in UK, fluent in English/Romanian/Mandarin.

I hope she can become more than just a 'poster girl' of tennis. One of the biggest ever poster girls of tennis was Anna Kournikova. She never won one single tournament on the WTA by herself (won a few in doubles).

I have no idea how proficient her Romanian or Mandarin is, but she made the right decision to play for the country where she grew up and can definitely speak the language of that country, at least. She's just done her A-levels so it's good to see that she completed a certain level of education. And she seems a fun type of person.

Age is just a number for the likes of Roger Federer. There is lot more vintage tennis yet to come from the racket of the all time great. Lovers of tennis will like to watch the multiple GS winner go on and on. All the best.
