Federer ousted; Djokovic, Murray, Nishikori, Williams advance at Italian Open

Fingers crossed that Feddy can get his back fixed up, in time for Wimbledon at least.

Meanwhile, a much better start from Nishikori yesterday than in his 2nd round showing. Gasquet didn't win a point until the 3rd game, and it seemed he might be staring at a bagel himself in the 1st set, before he managed to hold a service game.

Up and down in the 2nd set serving up 3 double faults in one service game, but as the score shows, closed it out. Perhaps Nishikori took his mind off the job, leading at 3-1.

One more for Federer and I think everyone will be happy.
