FIFA considers staging Women's World Cup every 2 years

Infantino seems to be hell-bent on killing what makes World Cups special.

1) You don't spoil the tournament by having too many teams, many of which just won't be competitive; and

2) You don't spoil the tournament by having it too often and ruining the anticipation factor.

Has he never heard of "less is more"?

Agreed. I love the World Cup but I think holding it too often would be a disaster. The fact that it is every four years means that players only have a few chances to compete during their careers. This gives the knock out games a real edge because it might be the last chance to play at a World Cup for a lot of the players on the pitch.
