It's a curtain raiser. The Nov 21-Dec 18 FIFA World Cup football tournament schedule for Qatar 2022 will open the door for other football loving cities in Asia to dream big. State-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities are in place in mega cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Jamshedpur, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Bengaluru, Goa, Pune, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. India would be an ideal venue for hosting FIFA's 48 team format. There are several million football fans in the nearly 1,4 billion inhabitants of present day India. FIFA needs to take up the challenge and act in the best interest of the Beautiful Global Game.
