But Islam is a peaceful religion.

So the disgusting treatment of LGBT people gets filed under religious opinions.
What does this get filed under?

All these arbitrary measures have nothing to do with the country or religion, those are ORDERS given by the FIFA mafia for a better management of its logistics and that happens in EVERY soccer world cup professional or youth categories..
Others of its orders are, for example, to exterminate the greatest amount of stray dogs possible and evacuate the homeless population to the outskirts of the cities where there are World Cup games to give a better appearance to those cities..
Believe me, in my country there was a youth soccer world cup and all these things happened..
That's the FIFA mob

Sounds awful.
Which country was that?

I am expecting that Sunak will join the left-wing in boycotting this racist world cup. In fact England should pull out of this world cup - racism and slavery is not worth anything.

China did the same thing.

It definitely wouldn't happen here. If they tried, FIFA would be thrown out. Rule of law matters. Any country that doesn't prevent forced relocations without a very long "due process" doesn't have rule of law. They've been abusing migrants in Qatar for years in setting up this world cup. Abuses aren't just forcing migrants to relocate, but for wage theft and other abuses, including deaths: https://www.hrw.org/news/2022/05/18/fifa-pay-harm-qatars-migrant-workers

LGBT people can be jailed for 7 yrs in Qatar. While would FIFA ever agree to have games in any country with such laws in 2022?
Qatar, the world is watching, but not just gay fans and players, we are watching how you treat humans. So far, we are no impressed.
