The same question could be asked about why almost all so-called democratic nations East and West deal with brutal feudalistic kingdoms like Saudi Arabia.
The answer is fairly obvious.

Couple of weeks ago I watched a documentary on You Tube about how Qatar construction companies are mistreating and abusing Migrant workers, and how 6500 workers died while working on the project, the accusation was backed by interviews with Migrant workers from Asia, Africa, the middle east, some claimed they live like Pigs, jammed in small rooms and the promised Salaries was never paid, or paid in small portions. some claimed they have not been paid for 4 to 6 months.

Watch this by France 24 TV on You Tube.

Funny.
Where were the calls for security guarantees for minorities when people were fleeing war torn Syria for the EU? ?How many people including children drowned trying to escape to the EU? How did the EU treat asylum seekers during the last 10 years? And NOW they have the audacity to talk about human rights??

Mr Kipling
Just ask the Germans about "Turk work" and why all their toilets are cleaned by Africans.
Fighto!
Did the German govt confiscate the Africans passports and prevent them from leaving? Did thousands of them die "cleaning the toilets"?
Because that's what the Qatari grubs systemically did and still do to foreign workers.
Mr Kipling
Fighto....
Probably not, and this is not very common in Qatar either.
Thousands die? Construction is dangerous but thousands?
Thousands queuing up to work in Qatar maybe. All making more than they can earn in their home countries.

A very big "minus" score for this corrupt event.

I was unaware that human rights violations were qualities inherent to one’s race, but hey, his words not mine.
