Former Olympic gymnastic champion dies after COVID infection

Csollany was fit and strong but also a vocal opponent of vaccination, according to reports elsewhere, and did not get his second shot until a few days before catching Covid, not enough time for it to take effect. It’s always sad to see a 51 year-old die of something preventable, but at least it looks like the Hungarian government will be using this tragedy as an incentive to persuade reluctant citizens to either get vaccinated, or have the booster.
