Bayern buy the best players from the other bundersliga teams - thus making their team stronger & the opposition teams weaker.

Congratulations to Bayern. But something has to change in the Bundesliga.

I admire Bayern Munich more than any other of the European giants, but 10 in a row is just unhealthy.

It’s getting pretty boring in too many comps across Europe. It’s always Bayern in Germany, almost always PSG in France, Celtic or Rangers in Scotland, and a limited pool of contenders just about everywhere else. And that, of course, extrapolates to the Champions League also. Hard to believe, but there was a time when it wasn’t like this - a time before the really big money took over.

@bigyen

when an oil rich country buys a football team, it’s basically game over for that league - zzzz

Things that have been implemented in other professional sporting leagues to even the competition are a draft, a salary cap & a wealth tax.

A memorable start. Young Bayern Munich gaffer Julian Nagelsmann has covered himself, his footballers, and fans with glory. Congratulations to the Bundesliga champions.

One team league with a yearly rerun of last year. It amazes me people want to watch bundesliga over the premier league..

they don’t !

that’s why the premier league can demand the big bucks

settle down - with the players they’ve assembled, & the competition they’re in, even Sam Allerdice could win it

@tooheysnew:

Re other measures, yes, as in the AFL. Draft and salary cap works.
