If you get out of a pool with Germany, France & Portugal you probably won't mind playing England in the round of 16. It's a step down if anything ( i mean last 2 wc winners, last euro W & finalists).

The amount of travel some teams & supporters will have to do is absolutely ridiculous i.e. swiss & welsh have to travel to baku & rome, possibly baku again in the finals etc. $$ & carbon footprint through the roof.
