It seems in England the pandemic is over.

C'mon Man U, looking to continue the form from last season plus two solid off season signings, I'm excited!

Great to have the supporters back in the stadiums. Wish I could have been at Goodison to see that.

Good starts for Chelsea and Liverpool. Salah up there with the best ever PL signings.

Oh dear Palace that wasn’t good. All over the place and Chelsea dominated. Mind you it’s the start of the season, hoping Viera can gel the team and get a couple more players in or we could be ina relegation scrap.

I also watched the Everton vs Southampton game which was very good and a great win for their new Liverpool manager (Joking, ex).

Hehe. Thought you couldn’t resist that one.

He got a pretty good reception according to my mates in Goodison yesterday.

The football was pretty straightforward - get it wide and get balls in to Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison. No surprise he brought Townsend and Gray in.

I reckon it's going to be a close fight for the title this year, with all four top clubs - Chelsea, Man City, Man United and Liverpool - in with a shout. Fifth place, again, for Leicester. Should be an exciting season!

Cracking start to the season, lots of very exciting games yesterday. Chelsea with Big Rom up top and Tommy Tickle's tactical nous should mount a challenge to City, while the Goldman Sachs Soccerdevils have actually bought some useful players over the summer, although they're still a couple short of making a serious run for the title. Wijnaldum could be a big miss for an aging Liverpool side that could use a few reinforcements.

Sports and Games - life in full flow. Wishing footballers, fans, and match-officials, healthy and happy times ahead.
