Hamilton has deserved it this year, Rosberg just hasn't put up enough of a challenge. Hopefully next year the other teams will be closer and we get a closer championship.

Formula 1 has lost the plot. Fans are quitting in droves and instead following other areas of Motorsport where the rules are not absurd and teams are allowed to test during the year. F1 drivers (through no fault of their own) are coddled and assisted in the cockpit by computerized engines and team staff. The day is coming when the drivers will "drive" the car remotely from the pit lane. Hamilton is indeed a talented driver but a world championship under these ludicrous conditions isn't what it used to be.

Luckily some of the problems that ohara has mentioned above are being assessed by Bernie and Max et al, and necessary changes are to some degree being brought in. Communication with drivers is now more limited, and engine development rules are being relaxed. Maybe I am simple-minded, but there is generally enough going on to keep me interested, although there is still much that raises my blood pressure. Some races are very exciting, others put me into a deep and satisfying sleep.

Well, heres hoping, nandakandamanda. Im hanging on to my interest in F1 by the skin of my teeth. I'll give it a chance and see how next season shapes up.
