Harumafuji downs Hakuho to win Nagoya sumo tournament

Ozeki Harumafuji defeated Yokozuna Hakuho on Sunday to win the Nagoya sumo tournament. It was his 3rd Emperor's Cup title.

Both Mongolian wrestlers went into the final with perfect 14-0 records for the tournament, the first time in 29 years that an undefeated ozeki faced an undefeated yokozuna in the final. After the face-off, Harumafuji quickly backpedaled the yokozuna and forced him over the edge at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium.

Hope that Harumafuji will be a yokozuna soon. It's going to be more fun.

Great basho Harumafuji! They don't mention the slap to the face that Harumafuji gave the Yokozuna, which I think made Hakuho a little angry, and Harumafuji got the win. I guess he will have to win the next basho to be promoted, but I hope he becomes a yokozuna soon.
