Age is just a number. If your good enough, and Ichiro still is, why cut someone from the roster simply because they are 45? He is fitter than most players at 30. It would be amazing to watch Ichiro in another full season for the Mariners! Go go Ichiro!!

Had to let someone know that although he WAS a great player, he is way past his prime and could only attract attention from Seattle (for obvious reasons) and the bottom feeders.

Hasn't hit .300 since 2010. Was demoted to the front office early last season when he was only hitting .205. Still has a great arm but looks like he's been moved over to Left Field. He'll start both games but don't expect him to finish either. This is just for the fans. He'll be back in the front office in short time. Thanks for the memories.
