Proteas will probably play Australia in the semifinal so it's hard not to think of 1999 when South Africa was the best side in the tournament but choked against Australia.

Hope this time we get a new World Cup winner which has not lifted the Cup before. For that, Proteas should look beyond this defeat and focus on the task ahead.

Powerful and effective powerplay at the start and at the business end is what the Indian batters and bowlers are doing with great relish. Skipper Rohit is carrying his bat like a sword. Middle overs are being well taken care of by Virat, Shreyas, and Rahul. SKY and Jadeja are renowned for their cameo contributions. Bumrah, Siraj, Shami, Ravindra, and Kuleep are nicely bowling to their field. It may be good to bring in spin wizard Ravichandran Ashwin, difference-maker Shardul Thakur, galloping Prasidh Krishna, and fiery Ishan Kishan to test the skills of the Flying Dutchmen at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangaluru.
