If the people of China, do not liberate themselves, no one will do it for them, the people of Sudan, risk lives and some died, the military restored the Prime Minister, Black people in America liberated themselves from racial oppression, Chinese in China should liberate themselves from their own oppression

She's probably detained and sent to an indoctrination camp and she will be there and re-programmed, maybe verbally and physically abused as well and then when she is fit, she will be re-introduced into society.

They will do the same to her as they did to Jack Ma, tell them they are a pawn in the game and if they make one misstep and bad mouth or make the party look bad they would take them out.

For all we know, they were making the world looks like fools. Everything whether news, products are fakes. Never trust China.

If she is safe or not, this story shows how much global attitude towards China has changed in the last 10 years. Governments and people at large see China as an oppressive regime and one could actually say comparable to the way Soviet Union was seen during the cold war.

Gambare Nippon:

Its not even worth citing that blog. Entirely pro-commie, pro-China, pro-Russia and anti-western propaganda.

I guess you didn't read all the other juicy articles on that website. I hope you're not calling US republicans and Trumpians 'pro-commie'?

Not too surprising, we had photographic evidence prior to this that should have assuaged doubts. Not sure who was going to be swayed by the IOC if actual pictures didn't prove it to them though, but it is maybe good to get extra confirmation.

That said, people who have their minds made up won't be convinced now if she walks up to them and shakes their hand. We can see the same thing from prior retractions that have been made, where people still wholly believe the original claim.

@Fighto!

How can a blog be both pro-Communist and pro-Russia? Those two things are pretty much polar opposites these days. Not to mention, anti-western propaganda (or any propaganda) should be a good thing?

Zero credibility.

Boycott the Genocide Games 2022.

Now that the corrupt Bach has given us assurances of her well being, all is well in the world. Protecting the winter games at all cost surfaces again. No doubt having dinner with Bach will be the highlight (lowlight?) of her career. Will it be a "one on one" or will there be the obligatory minder at the table?

He reminds me of WW2's Neville Chamberlain who deferred to Adolf.

The way WTA and ATP tour works is that the players are basically all the time on the road, and the people who they mostly hang out with are their team and their colleagues on the tour. The fact that her colleagues on the tour cannot contact her directly, and only official appearances are possible is suspicious to say the least.

The question is: Why did it take her so long to respond? She probably is being under direct orders to respond positively or her life may be in ... decline?

If Peng Shuai is truly safe and free and wanted to settle all the speculation once and for all, how come she just doesn't broadcast to everyone herself on camera instead of "tweeting" a strangely written message (with a cursor visible), having her "friend" show pictures from supposedly Peng's Weibo account hanging out, and doing video calls to select individuals like the IOC (is the video available for us to see) but not the WTA? And who removed her post about sexual assault allegation and why? Doesn't appear free and safe to me.

So much for all the anti-China people bashing China for her disappearance while she’s been chilling at her home away from the fake western media! And even though she physically appeared and talked with IOC President Bash people commenting here are nothing less than idiots that they don believe it!

-17 ( +4 / -21 )

“She explained that she is safe and well, living at her home in Beijing, but would like to have her privacy respected at this time. That is why she prefers to spend her time with friends and family right now,” the pre approved CCCP Script said.

15 ( +18 / -3 )

She’s obviously been given a serious dressing-down by the CDP and has the equivalent of a gun to her head. IOC is fine with that. Typical.

13 ( +16 / -3 )

I dont believe it. China has lied many times.

15 ( +19 / -4 )

Is it any surprise the IOC has adopted a pro-China "nothing to see here" stance on this human rights abuse? They stand to gain tens of millions of dollars off the PRC from the Genocide Games - of course "everything is fine".

10 ( +16 / -6 )

More money gone to the corrupt IOC officials.

5 ( +14 / -9 )

Of course the ccp called their favourite westerner, the one they know would never as a hard question, Mr Bach.

He wouldn't dare challenge the ccp rhetoric.
