The IOC are fretting about the lack of progess in actually getting the basics ready in time for the Games, so they will agree to anything, like events in Fukushima. So much for a 'Tokyo' centred Games as originally promised. The whole thing is a shambles, an utter joke.

I can't wait to see the transport chaos when the Games actually start.

Ohter small problems to wrap up are where to hold the bedroom games, and how to allocate enough hospital space for all the expected victims of heat-stroke.

"We recently added 15 events to the Olympic program," Coates said. "They are events delivering greater gender equality and more of an urban and youth focus."

Translation: Folks realize the Olympics games are a week longer than they should be. Also they're crammed with BS filler events that have little to do with athletic prowess, and more about luck, politics, and overall showmanship.
