Much better game than the All Blacks v Tonga debacle earlier in the day. No disrespect to Tonga as they played the hand they were dealt.

Couple more games together against quality opposition like Ireland and BIL, and the Blossoms will be looking okay to go one step further in 2023.

Love the Blackness but it was a sham. Mt Smart Stadium to appeal to Sth Aucklanders but stadium half empty, Tongan players paying for MIQ themselves, hard to get worked up for that one :(

Go you good things, Brave Blossoms! They really are a top tier Rugby team now. The aim absolutely now must be a Semi-final at the World Cup in France, and see what happens from there.

Semi final, Fighto! ? Hmm, I'm not so sure they'll get out of the group.

Are they a top tier rugby team? Japan? I mean, they're not bad, but top tier? I think you've been here too long!

Impressive stuff. The days of 80-0 thrashings are definitely over.

Certainty Japan are a massively improved team and very entertaining also. Ireland were missing seven of their best players on Lions duty.
