Excellent result for the 98% of rugby fans that hate England. Banzai!!! Hope the Poms throw their chariot away. Next great games to look forward to The LIons in NZ.

For 79 minutes, this was a gritty, mundane match. Then came injury time — all 21 minutes of it to send spectators in the Stade de France into a frenzy.

The most farcical 20min of rugby I have ever watched. The Atonio substitution for concussion was a joke but so were the '10min' (more like 3min) the Welsh prop spent in the sin bin and the countless welsh infringements at scrumtime. Any other ref would have awarded penalty try to the dominant team after 2/3 scrums collapsed 5m from the try-line. Not Barnes especially not when the 'dominant' team is France though.

Kudos to Barnes for standing his ground in hostile territory though. A ref like Joubert would have run off the field after 1 scrum.
