I'm sure he'll take out the Fashion Masters while he's there as well. Go you little clotheshorse!

Ishikawa, 18

Wow.

Ranked 30th in the world

My goodness. And coming up, much to the dismay of the jealous haters.

played alongside Tiger Woods at the British Open in July

Anyone remember when he outshone Tiger? Ishikawa is a dedicated go-getter, not like that morally reprehensible vow breaker.

received awards in a record nine JGTO different categories.

This must include his appointment to vice-chairman - an "empty-yet-somehow-at-the-same-time-important" title, according to one little green man.

"Anyone remember when he outshone Tiger? Ishikawa is a dedicated go-getter, not like that morally reprehensible vow breaker."

How did he outshine Tiger? Certainly not on the leader board. Don't know what you have against Tiger Woods but Ishikawa has a very long way to go before he deserves to be even mentioned in the same sentence as Woods.

Not to mention his ranking is based on his performance in Japan. It like going to a bad 4 tier school and making straight A's and B's. Then say you are just as good as the top tiers school despite performing badly against them in every meeting.

I see the moderators are already editing my posts to change the meaning.

Like I said Roguefive is JT staff sent to stir controversy. Read his other posts as proof.

Moderator: That is incorrect. Please do not bring this point up again.

How did he outshine Tiger? Certainly not on the leader board.

Didn't Ryo do better than the cheater on the first day? And then finish one shot worse than him after the second day?

I've got nothing against Tiger really, but he'll never be the vice-chairman of the Japan Golf Tour Organization, like one Ryo Ishikawa, 18.

Ishikawa rocks...something something...mentioned in the same sentence as Woods

Well that's not gonna happen anytime this year is it? With one of them out due to his morally unacceptable shenanigans. Naughty naughty.

Roguefive,

Wow just like the other 5 meaningless Vice Chairmen. You check the other thread.

Your titles don't make him a better golfer. It makes him look like a joke. Thanks.

Once again the moderators are editing my post to change the meaning.

Then he writes:

top living in the past, littlegreenman.

You should read your own hypocrisy and illogical statements.

They can also be read here about Ryo Ishikawa:

Which is it? Now? Past? drum roll.....Nonsense

How about a big bowl of Natto?

Moderator: All readers, enough of this nonsense please. Focus your comments on the story, not at each other.

Ah, so a better score on one round out of four is 'outshining' by your definition? Something tells me you don't play golf or know much about the game. Do you know how many golfers are out there who have beaten Tiger on the first round of a tournament? Countless. In the last British Open Ishikawa undershot Tiger by three strokes on day one and Tiger beat him by four on the second. Neither continued further in the tournament but Woods finished 74T and Ishikawa finished 85T. That's hardly impressive for Ishikawa, especially considering the fact that it was one of Ishikawa's better efforts in a major tournament and one of Tiger's absolute worst.

"I've got nothing against Tiger really, but he'll never be the vice-chairman of the Japan Golf Tour Organization, like one Ryo Ishikawa, 18."

LOL, Tiger doesn't need to be a meaningless figure-head/mascot Vice-Chairman of the JGTO. He can just buy it and own it if he ever wanted to...

USNinJapan2,

Don't bother. Roguefive is JT staff or something. Just look at his posts. He like to stir conversations. Nonsense is his forte.

Regarding Ishikawa's potential golf greatness, only Time will tell...You've gotta win tournaments (plural) to be even considered worthy of anything near greatness. And being a snappy dresser and kawaii doesn't count for beans on the professionl golf circuit. My money is still on the Northern California native, Nick Watney. And he's real cute, too, although snappy dresser, Nick is not!

He'll LOSE get sad and win japanese tournaments again.2011 again and so on rinse and repeat for better results

Correct me if I'm wrong, but no Japanese has EVER won a major. Ryo is the great white hope. But track record in Japan has never been enough to take a major. He will need to do much better

I'm sure he'll have a good career. What was really astounding last year was Tom Watson almost winning the British Open at the age of 59. That was far more impressive.

Tiger was PGA player of the year so Ishikawa did not "outshine" him at all. For you non-golfers, PGA means "Porn Girls Association".
