In the future, who knows, sex could become an olympic sport !

**“I am Japanese,” she said, suggesting her compatriots’ behavior is more elegant than others.

“I’ll only look,” she added while shopping for Olympic merchandise.**

Hahahahaha! With 50% of marriages in this country being shotgun marriages....

There used to be a mindset that sex before competition hurt your athletic performance. But then I read of a study years ago that debunked that and indicated that athletes who engaged in sex the night before actually had a higher chance to medal.

Wonderful tabloid, sensationalist reporting here. Is this really the world headlining sports news story of the day?

In the future, who knows, sex could become an olympic sport !

How would it work? Fastest to finish or slowest? Most climaxes? How far you can shoot?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

paulinusa: Any study of either is going to end up being silly and riddled with exceptions. Just let the youngin's have fun, I say, so long as they're not stupid and don't overdo it (ex. go at it all night with an event in the morning).

Dr Joao Olyntho Machado Neto said. “If you are going to be healthy people, why not make sex? ... Brazil is very tolerant with sex as a country. We don’t have Victorian minds and we’re not religious.”

Completely agree with the sentiment, but Brazil not religious? Is this guy a doctor or a stand-up comedian?

At least there's something to be excited for regarding the Olympics. Sad to say, but over recent years it seems that that energy and buzz about the Olympics seems to have faded away. Perhaps it's gone too commercial?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Tabloid reporting, indeed. However, I'll now be looking upon the Olympians in a whole different light. More six packs and tight bottoms in the Olympic village than you can shake a javelin at, and that's just the women.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I thought it was pretty well known that the village is one big frenzy when people people start finishing their events. Can't say I blame them - hot bodies all over the place!

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Good Luck, Kouassi Brou! I will cheer for you!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The standard now is 100,000 condoms per Olympic. During the Sydney Olympics (2000), 70,000 condoms were ordered but they ran out so another 20,000 condoms were ordered.

Wakarimasen: Yay! Maybe they should make a "sexolympics" to throw up on the internet. I am sure they can have different categories for all that you mentioned and more (acrobatic position changing? Synchronized?)

In the future, who knows, sex could become an olympic sport !

I always get the silver medal....because I always finish second.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

@Mark

I always get the silver medal....because I always finish second.

But your partner's on a yellow card for "simulation" ;)

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I always finish second.

Still under 10 seconds, though, I bet.

"(Sex) is common at the Olympics. It's necessary. It's natural," Dr Joao Olyntho Machado Neto said...

I would rather say that "Sex is the best and most important thing in life. Period."

2 ( +2 / -0 )

"Only look" yea right lol....

1 ( +1 / -0 )

there are sex competitions already :-)

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Very tabloid stuff. Surprised.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Never fear...her blushing reply was most likely out of shyness. Whether or not she personally will partake in the "festivities" is up to her. Don't let that reply fool you; Japanese people enjoy sex just as much as anybody. They just tend to be a little more on the shy side about blabbing about it all over the international news, that is all!

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Free condoms? The rates payers of London and the people attending are paying top-dollar to fund this festival of commercialism, oh, yes, and sport, and a included are 100,000 jonnies? Maybe I'm wrong and they are sponsored by Nike; 'Just Do It!'

1 ( +1 / -0 )

10 000 super-fit and attractive people, most from 18 to 30 and single, from all over the world. Oh yeah, it is on! How could anyone be surprised about that?

You know it's funny what adults keep pretending for the sake of the younglings. We keep pretending that Santa Claus is real in public, so as not to kill the pretty illusions of the kids... and we keep pretending that no one has sex or is sexually attracted to anyone else, just to make sure that the poor kids grow up super awkward about their sexual feelings which, according to society (in public and in mainstream media), they're the only ones to have.

This is just another example of that, pretending that it's any surprise that young people grouped together would have sex, even though it's the most natural thing in the world.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

oh my, here we go with another reality TV show; Big Brother goes to the Olympic Village....

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Thats the spirit!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

This won't be Jacques Rogge's headline to be read

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Now if we could harness that expended energy it would be a green and clean energy to power the Olympics, etc.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

cattzs you seem to have some over prudence issues.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

I don't trust anybody for sex and money, if they can harness mild energy lovingly in between two super bodies that can produce supreme energy to get many Gold medals What’s harm in such fusion of two willing which yields BOSON in a shotgun performance according to tmaie. But be careful of paparazzi and commercial seekers.

Here's the original article I've mentioned before here:

Hahaha, this reminds us one of the funniest articles we've read about the Olympics. Try it!

.

"Will you still medal in the morning? -- The real games in the Olympic Village will not be televised"

http://espn.go.com/olympics/summer/2012/story/_/id/8133052/athletes-spill-details-dirty-secrets-olympic-village-espn-magazine

(Note: maybe NSFW, though nothing graphic.)

.

Home to more than 10,000 athletes at the Summer Games and 2,700 at the Winter, the Olympic Village is one of the world's most exclusive clubs. To join, prospective members need only have spectacular talent and -- we long assumed -- a chaste devotion to the most intense competition of their lives. But the image of a celibate Games began to flicker in '92 when it was reported that the Games' organizers had ordered in prophylactics like pizza. Then, at the 2000 Sydney Games, 70,000 condoms wasn't enough, prompting a second order of 20,000 and a new standing order of 100,000 condoms per Olympics.

And yes, the beautiful Hope Solo got in on the action too!

But what for the underage Chinese gymnasts?

Will there be live telecast in HD? I don't need the translations, just the sound effect!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I finally get it! That's why people train to throw things, jump and have mock sword fights - to get laid.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I should become an Olympic athlete!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

@cattzs "completely disgusting"

yep sound like cattzs hasnt been getting any recently.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

the brazil not being religious part gave me a laugh. I can't walk to the grocery store without being harassed by brazilian women in suits to join their religion.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I have to admit, I wish I could be invited to that party. :)

0 ( +0 / -0 )

"Im Japanese" , never do anything spontaneous, out of the ordinary, or before someone else has done it first, yep that about sums it up, LOL

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Back home we say:

"The Body needs sex and it feels good too."

Nuff said.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

@wtfjapan,

They're like that when IN JAPAN perhaps. When free from the conservative pressure of the islanders they can, much like everybody else, relax quite well. Japanese ladies can be quite promiscuous when abroad. As they should.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

It's the country of freedom of the press to invade your privacy, a tabloid kingdom where the paparazzi can do just about anything. Good luck having sex in private.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

completely disgusting.
