He's done, It will be retirement and exhibition matches from next year.

He did play pretty decent tennis but Pablo was just better yesterday for sure. Hopefully we see Nishikori slowly improving as the year goes on. Good luck Kei!

He played well, and if he stays healthy and injury-free, I hope he will come back to form during 2021. However, I doubt he will be back in top 10, the young wave is riding strong.

It was a quite bad day for the Japanese, except Osaka everybody else lost...

Kei's best chance of winning a major was at the 2014 US Open. He knows it, and it will haunt him forever.

I feel sorry for Kei, he wasn't playing anywhere near his peak yesterday.. Hope he can recover his finesse!

Geez... ranked 41 now when some on here said he was #1 from the beginning. Guess it'll never be his year after all. I'm glad he's having fun, though, and "kind of" happy at least. That's the most important thing.
