Great goal by Honda.

An Inspired and invigorated 2nd Half from Japan. They dominated most of the half and created several chances, not only that, they displayed the passing and style with those two goals and many chances. They could've scored on another goals but too bad. at least they fought until the end.

A cracking game and credit to Japan. They didn't let the heads drop after going two down and ended up deserving the win. Nice football played for both Japan goals and excellent possession football in the second half which was encouraging. Less encouraging was the defensive display. Uchida is an honest pro but his errors of judgement are far too common and he gets caught out of position too often. It's worth remembering that the Dutch side didn't have van Persie up front, a player who could have had a field day with that defence, but overall Zac has silenced a few doubters with that performance. On a side note, what a terrible pitch.

Watched the game, Ozaki was useless in front of goal BUT was a workhorse in putting pressure on their back line. Unfortunately he just doesnt have the quality to be in the starting 11. He is just a bit too slow to be up against teams like Holland.

I expected Japan to lose this game heavily, but they totally dominated the majority of this game. When Holland had control, they had pure quality, but Japan dominated most of the game and unfortunately squandered a lot of good chances.

Also, Robbens goal......worst defending ive ever seen, every defender in the world knows he cant use his right foot, so I dont know why the defenders let him get the ball onto his left and let him cut inside so easily.....

Didn't see the match but 2-2 against the Dutch is an excellent result. Meanwhile, normal service has resumed for the England team.
