Saburo Kawabuchi, 78, top adviser of the Japan Football Association, is among the possible candidate

You can help but understand why there are fewer and fewer young people, they have no voice, no authority, and no representation.

Why don't they simply elect an ex Olympian (or high level sports person who has retired) into the top position?

only doing this now, they should have done it the day after they won the bid. 5yrs is not much time to get your top athletes to peak at there home Olympics
