Nice. Keeping parents and family away from the kids they love and support in their favorite sport. Just lovely!

How about switching to e-sports competitions so even the players dont have to be near each other?

The tournament, if held, will be played to empty stands, but the organizers have yet to decide whether to go ahead with or cancel the annual spring tourney known as 選抜- that decision will be made on March 11.

If Senbatsu takes place, only the officiating crew, coaching staff and 18 players per team will be allowed in the stadium (as well as camera operators and photographers).

You still have groups of children, teachers, parents, officials moving around the country. Should have cancelled.
