Fighto!
King Kazu! This man is a marvel - he just keeps on going!
Wishing King Kazu and his club Atletico Suzuka from Mie much success for the upcoming season.

The cynic in me says that this all getting a bit silly now and he's just a marketing tool for very minor clubs.
The recently retired footballer in me says fair play to him, keep playing for as long as you can.

He should be playing for the Gateball Club.

this is nonsense
these clubs are barely professional
next thing it will be the community center club.

I saw him play against Gifu FC a few years ago...He spent 30 minutes or so warming up and came on at the end of the match for 10 minutes to the crowds delight.
He didn't do have any impact on the game at all and in an fairness he is just an advertising mascot for the teams he plays for now.
After 40 -45 he really should have called it quits and gone into coaching.

It's just for show -- he'll step on the field for the final few minutes and just jog around the defensive zone (unless it's a tight game and he won't go on at all). The article talks about how Messi and Ronaldo are 37 and 39, respectively, but Miura is anything but these two, and isn't about to get any better.
I admire people that want to push on despite their age, but seriously.

I regularly go to Yokohama FC games and saw Kazu play several times when he was still with the club. It was hard to watch at times. He was so slow, couldn’t jump, turned like a yacht. Yet the fans were always so excited to see him come off the bench. I always wondered what the players ahead of whom Kazu was picked felt about him being wheeled out for these little cameos.

Japanese soccer player Kazuyoshi Miura has a long way to go. Repaying the Beautiful Game that has given him so much joy will never be easy. May the footballer, his colleagues on the field and football fans enjoy glorious times on and off the field in the seasons ahead.

Will they be bringing his coffin on for the last five minutes when he is dead. He WAS a great player. He WAS a great ambassador for the game. Now just an embarrassment.
