You gotta love the experiences that the Czech team had.

Satoria, an average Joe electrician who has never played professionally, can now tell his grandkids that he faced the best player in all of baseball before a packed stadium and with millions watching on TV and struck him out. Not many electricians have a story like that to tell.

I hope he's eventually able to get Ohtani's signature on that ball.

And I thought it was cool that Sasaki visited the Czech team's hotel to apologize in person like that to Escala.

I loved watching the Czech team. Very heartwarming team. Wish the MLB would expand more into Europe and try to fund a professional league there so that we can get more teams like Czech. Sadly baseball is losing popularity and it would be great if baseball could get a few extra fans outside the US.

The whole stadium cheered when Escala sprinted down the line. The previous day when Nootbaar got hit he looked like he wanted to charge the mound.

When Nootbaar has his mouth closed, you know he is serious.
