Like cricket is totally related to Rugby? Well I guess so, if Brett Lee was coming in with the wind, I bet my sidestep would improve!

Jones, who took over Japan in April, added that players overseas take up a number of sports while at school to “learn different skill sets that they can then apply to their rugby”.

Yeah in Australia they play other sports but it's not with the specific purpose of giving themselves a larger skill set. It's because that is the way the junior sports system works in Australia.

I never quite got the lack of seasonal sports in Japan schools. If you are in the Baseball team, you play 5 days a week, every week of the year, become almost gulag-ish.

Baseball, softball, tennis, T&F are summer sports. Soccer, Rugby, Am Football are winter sports.

Balance is healthy in life. It would reduce stress for a lot of kids in clubs.
