Soccer has a bad and ugly culture that surrounds it which is why I'd never let my son ever play that sport. Rugby all the way!

i can imagine the AFC's ceos dirty grin just as the corrupted FIFA's.
banning is enough, coz the m fines

Nice akula, blame the ball and the field for being a bad sport.
Hopefully you didn't tell your kid that either.

Snobbery is a bad and ugly attribute, in my book. As for the behaviour; this is not the norm, as far as I've observed. The fines are deserved.

Akula has a slight point though! If the players did this to the officials in rugby, they'd be looking at far lengthier bans. In fact they'd be looking at getting a kicking from the rest of their own team too.

Sounds like an insane match, and a whole lot of VERY poor sportsmanship.
ClippetyClop: "Korean players lost it"
Obviously not just them, if you bothered to read the article. Also, don't forget Urawa has just about the worst record in Asia for racist rants and in particular hatred targeting Koreans. It's not a surprise that the mood might have been particularly tense to begin with, major upset in score aside.

I read the article, I watched the match, but nice try at patronizing my opinion. I stand by what I said; the Koreans lost the plot.

Football has degenerated over the years. Games have been decided over faked injuries - the players drop and writhe on the ground at every opportunity. No thanks.
