Football has degenerated over the years. Games have been decided over faked injuries - the players drop and writhe on the ground at every opportunity. No thanks.

if you bothered to read the article.

I read the article, I watched the match, but nice try at patronizing my opinion. I stand by what I said; the Koreans lost the plot.

It's not a surprise that the mood might have been particularly tense to begin with, major upset in score aside.

Excuses. The Korean players acted very childish and deserves criticism. Watching that scene is cringe worthy to say the least.

Sounds like an insane match, and a whole lot of VERY poor sportsmanship.

ClippetyClop: "Korean players lost it"

Obviously not just them, if you bothered to read the article. Also, don't forget Urawa has just about the worst record in Asia for racist rants and in particular hatred targeting Koreans. Akula has a slight point though! If the players did this to the officials in rugby, they'd be looking at far lengthier bans. In fact they'd be looking at getting a kicking from the rest of their own team too.

Soccer has a bad and ugly culture that surrounds it which is why I'd never let my son ever play that sport. Rugby all the way!

Snobbery is a bad and ugly attribute, in my book. As for the behaviour; this is not the norm, as far as I've observed. The fines are deserved.

Nice akula, blame the ball and the field for being a bad sport.

Hopefully you didn't tell your kid that either.
