These guys most likely flew private which means little or no jet lag.

Jet lag is from being on airliners where cabin pressure is still about 8,000 feet. Private jets take that pressure down substantially because they are sealed better than leaky airliners.

F1 is past its sell by date. Motor racing originally helped stimulate technical development in cars. If it is to retain any relevance (other than money for a few) it needs to open up competition to non ICE vehicles instead of so regulating the entry so as to stifle real technological competition.
