After Roland and Ayrton at San Marino in 1994 it seemed that F1 had become blessed. Sadly it really is over now but let Jules really be the last one. Judging by the comments by his colleagues his parents had a son to be proud of. May their memories give them comfort.

Too early, too young. My husband attended the race together with our lil man - his very first F1 race. Fortunately, they were far away from the scene of the accident and didn't have to witness it. RIP, Jules!

Man, RIP. I completely forgot about this but just recently thought again about what happened to him. My prayers with his family.

I remember this crash, and the stupidity of what led to it -- they should never have allowed them to continue on like that after the first crash. I also thought he was making progress after, but I guess not... or at least not much. RIP.
