How I long for the days when the challenger actually had to TAKE the title from the champion, a la Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, etc. Neither fighter distinguished himself but Kameda did nothing to deserve the belt and I doubt he could punch himself out of a wet paper bag. I quickly turned off the TV for fear that he would start to sing.

I was also wondering how much the Thai guy was paid. It was a crap fight. Daiki looked like he was going to cry many times when things weren'T going his way. Both didn't box well at all.

Anyone else notice that Daiki and Koki didn't seem to be getting along? Koki was at his side every break and Daiki ignored him the whole time.

I will say Daiki's thank you speech showed a new side of him. He apologized for causing so many problems in the past which impressed me. Though I figure it is just to soften the old guys up so that hoth Daiki and Koki can ask again that the ban on their dad be lifted.

Pathetic fight by Kaowichit. All he did was "hug" Daiki throughout the fight.

Can't wait for the day these guys get their clocks cleaned by some real challengers....

I agree that that fight pretty much sucked. It looked like two lovers trying to get it on. It be nice to see both of the brothers fight opponents that don't do anything for once.
