Watch Melbourne improve suddenly. At least he's back to one of his better positions -- bench warmer.

Smith in Japan, reading comprehension :

The loss of Honda is a setback for the second-place Victory, who have drawn their past two matches without their marquee player after winning six in a row in the Australian league.

The former AC Milan player co-leads the Victory with five goals this season, is tied for second in the league with assists (three), and also leads the club in chances created (21).

mrkobayashi: "The former AC Milan player..."

Former AC Milan bench warmer, my friend. It would be more apt to say former CSKA player, since he did in fact play quite a bit for them and very little for Milan, whose coach essentially canned him. But, as is one of the reasons the man has an inflated ego, people like to play up certain points. Anyway, if he's their marquee player I feel sorry for them, and as for him, it's kind of like the Triple A bench of baseball after being dropped from the majors.

All that said, being out on injury is a crappy way to go, like or not like. Get well soon and back to coaching Cambodia and kicking the ball to fans in Australian soccer.

Pretty impressive stats. Smith doesn’t like Honda and he won’t let facts get in the way of this. I’m sure he’s watched all the games this season.
